Frequently asked questions
-
Consultations are free and this is a 15-20 minute block of time where we will discuss your desired outcomes of therapy/coaching. Additionally, you will have time to ask me whatever questions you may have so that you can feel safe and comfortable to determine if you feel working with myself would be a good fit for you.
-
It all starts with a consultation, then if you determine you would like to move forward we will schedule a date for our first meeting. After that I will send out some paperwork for you to fill out and this will all need to be completed prior to our first session. Then we meet for our session for approximately 45-50 minutes, and after you get to decide if you would like to meet again for another session.

I get asked this a lot, and the answer is a resounding YES for two primary reasons. Firstly, Solution Focused Brief Therapy(SFBT) is an evidence based therapy style for creating change in people that they want to see. It has been researched across a lot of client needs and has been found to be transformative for clients. Secondly, SFBT is built on the premise of Hope. Research shows that what truly makes a difference in the amount of change a client experiences is through them believing that the therapist truly believes in their ability to achieve their outcomes. Let me tell you; if you are coming to therapy, I have nothing but belief that you can get what you want. I have zero doubt in you and when we talk, I will only talk to you in a way that shows your capability.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. When you must cancel, please give Chris at least 48-hours notice as he is rarely able to fill a canceled session on short notice.
If you are unable to provide at least 48-hours notice, you will be charged the full fee for your session at $175.00
My heartfelt goal is to help you, not to charge for late cancellations. The only exception to this cancellation policy is a “true emergency”. For purposes of this policy, some examples of true emergencies are car accidents, a death in the family, or extreme illness. The following are NOT considered emergencies, a child’s school or sports event, work issues, or canceled babysitters.
